5 Fabric Scrap Projects to Shrink Your Stash - Cloth Paper Scissors

Another very versatile ingredient that often gets overlooked for use in witchcraft. And on top of that it's another ingredient that is safe to keep on hand in case you're not open about your craft - if anyone questions why you have fabric scraps there's a very mundane answer!

As for uses inside the craft, they are varied. Color association obviously, as well as pattern association - got some cute fabric with paw prints? Great for spells about animals! Vintage lace fabric? Awesome, you've got a component for spells that deal with delicate things, pretty things, old things, and a whole host of other broad categories.

It's also a great way to make use of items that you might otherwise discard. I do a lot of mundane work with fabric and often end up with scraps that are simply too small to do anything else with. I keep them for use in my craft because they are visually appealing in most cases and can help add a much-needed flair to whatever I end up making. Sometimes the scraps are just big enough to make little spell pouches too, which is a welcome change from the spell jars I usually make.
